Is it beneficial of migrating from sunbelt software firewall to Viper?

One of my college’s personal firewall was Sunbelt Personal Firewall from sunbelt software. But now they have discontinued it and recommend Viper premium. I am very keen on knowing the benefits and drawbacks of it.
