Need To Learn How To Disable Zone Alarm

Apart from the normal basic firewall of my computer, I also use the zone alarm for higher protection. But lately, I have noticed that it limits the functionality of a few of my important programs. I need to learn how to disable zone alarm.

Need To Learn How To Disable Zone Alarm

For disabling zone alarm, first please make sure that you at least have your normal firewall enabled, otherwise your data will probably be at risk. Now, for the required steps: First find the zone alarm icon. You might find it in the taskbar. If not, go to the start menu to find a list of all programs.

Now, click on the icon. You will find the option to “shutdown zone alarm”. It basically means that zone alarm will stop use of its firewall. You can then turn it back on the same way, by clicking on the turn on zone alarm button.
