Reset Linksys WRT54G for new computers

I am having issues with my Linksys WRT54G router so I need to reset it so my newly added computers can be able to recognize my router. What do I need to resolve it? Do I need to change the SSID? My connection went down for few days of not using it. Please help.

Reset Linksys WRT54G for new computers

You will just need to do the following for the computers that you newly added to the network to be part of the router settings:

• First make sure that you have configured the computers to have the same workgroup as the others on the network.
  • Right click on my computer.
  • Choose properties.
  • In the window that will open, change the workgroup settings.
• Next, you will need to configure the IP addresses on the newly added computers.
  • Click on the network identity icon and choose network and sharing center.
  • Click on changed adapter settings.
  • Click on local area connection.
  • Choose IPv4 or IPv6 and add network settings.
  • Save the changes and exit.

You will then go to the router and refresh the settings. The IP addresses of the computers you just added should be seen.
