My last update was December for my antivirus. Is it alright if I don't update my antivirus regularly? I did updated it last December for my avast antivirus and I think it is not active anymore last December. Can you give me some tips on how to take good care of my computer system?

My last update was December for my antivirus.

Ideally, an antivirus should be updated whenever there is an available update. Updates are there to improve the performance of applications or softwares that you have. It is possible that there are newly discovered viruses that were added to the database or there are bugs that were fixed during the update.

The version that you currently have will work fine, but wouldn't you want a better version of the software? Updating could also mean that the antivirus can protect your computer better than the older version. So, it is really best to take advantage of the updates that are provided for your software.

One of the best ways to take care of your computer is to use an antivirus. If you also have time to spare, defrag the memory of your computer and organize your files once in a while. My last update was December for my antivirus.

You should update your antivirus regularly. Most of the antivirus software releases an update regularly this has to be done because there are thousands of malware create within a day. If your computer is connected to the internet there is always a possibility your computer is open to the viruses. Installing a virus guard does not guarantee the protection always because of these high number of viruses developed daily even the companies provide virus protection need to find those viruses and make sure that they don’t affect your computer system.

If you think your computer is affected by a virus and the virus guard not taking any action on it better inform it to your service provider then they will take a look at it.

As you know, intruders attack even the highly secured places in the world so no guarantee on our individual computer systems. Better to update the virus guard regularly to minimize the damage as much as possible.
