Maybe anyone could give me a good example on connecting to sql through a web service?
Its complicated since im new to this and never done this before.
Can you help me on how to go about it? Thank you for all the support……

Examples how to connect through a web service using SQL server 2008?

Hi,

It is very easy to connect to sql server through the web service. When you and your clients want to share information through sql server you can do it through the internet. This process is very easy. Follow the steps below:

1. Make sure your internet connection is working. You can check this by opening the web browser and visiting any website. If it is working then go to the next step. If there is a problem with the internet connection make sure you have it solved.

2. Check the firewall settings of your internet connection. Some applications have firewall to block them from running. So make sure your server is not blocked by the firewall.

3. Open sql server and connect it to the internet using your web service.

Now you can operate sql server through the web service.
