My Windows 2008 Server hangs up while scanning SAS drive. How can I fix this issue? The Safe Mode and The Last Known Good Configuration option is not working. I need help. Thank you.

Formatting is the best solution for you as you are unable to restore last known good configuration , which seem your windows supporting files are corrupt.

thanks.

There is probably something wrong with the file system of your Windows 2008 server that’s why it freezes up during the scanning. If this is the first time that this happens, try restarting the machine, then try it again. See if there is an improvement on the next reboot. If nothing has changed, try checking your computer for any possible errors. Use a disk utility application to check the system.

For a much through a diagnostic test on your system, use disk utility applications like PC Tools Performance Toolkit, Norton SystemWorks, or Norton Utilities. You may also try checking the entire system for possible virus infection. Update your antivirus then run a full system scan generally  system. Make sure that the folder “System Volume Information” is scanned on every drive. It is a hidden system folder located in the root of the drive.
