How to create discharge tube emitting particles using particular trapcode 1?

Hi to everyone. 

Some one told me about particular trapcode 1 as powerful motion graphic tool.

I installed it but don’t understand how to use it.

I want to create a discharge tube containing LED emitting charged particles and then striking on the end of tube.

I am wondering how it works? 

Animation is possible in it? 

Please provide some useful material to understand this tools.

You can also try this Adobe after effects CS6,

I think it is possible with the help of some Trapcode plug-ins. Below is a list of some resources that you can use for Trapcode tutorials. Just visit each and check if you can find anything useful.
