Failed to create a report and try to view the SQL

Hello,

I get the problem when I create a report and try to view the SQL or run the report because I get the incompatible combination of objects when I try to access an object from table that I added to a universe.

Thanks for any suggestion to resolve this annoying error message.

Failed to create a report and try to view the SQL

Such an error due to “incompatible combination of objects” comes up while running reports if there are unresolved loops in the universe. Basically, the error comes up to ensure that no misleading/incorrect results come up.

 Reconsider and redesign your base sql/joins to check for any unresolved loops.  Correcting the sql would probably help resolve the issue.
