Add-on layer to make a monitor touchscreen

I want a touchscreen for my computer, but they're so expensive.  Does anyone have any experience with USB/serial monitor overlays that turn your monitor into a touchscreen monitor?  They fit on the front of your monitor and create an grid of touch-points.

I know that you need a touchscreen that is fitted with your computer,but they are still expensive now all you need to do is to search for a website that can help you with your problems.Anyways,everybody wants touchscrfeen computers,right?But there might be a way to convert your average home screen to a fancy touchscreen.The initial feedback isn't exactly good as most desktop monitors aren't capable of such a drastic shift.Why?because there's not enough space behind the front bezel and the LCD chassis for the touchscreen sensor and the touch screen controller to fit in it.If you want to buy nlike a realistic one go to this link www.openpinoy.com/.
