Where is the Problem exactly and how to solve

Hi All,

Before finish whole energy of my Herotab M10 it was working fine.  And I charged the battery till green light on. But after charge it is not booting and starting OS properly. Please help me to fix up the problem, I shall be thankful. Thanks

Helo there,

First of all you need to take out your battery and charge it for around 30 to 40 minutes and then check if it boots. Well if this doesn't help then probably you can try upgrading the firmware. Download the latest one from here.

And copy it to your SD Card, and just click on the Power button and it will upgrade the firmware automatically within some time. After upgrading the firmware I am pretty sure you won't face this problem anymore. Hope this helps!

Most issue with Herotab M10 or any laptop computer that uses battery is the battery itself. Sometimes battery when it's charging, it doesn't really charging because of the battery had died or perhaps it gets over charged. And as we all know, over-charged battery can cause a major problem to the unit. It gets over heat and it affected all wiring's inside and it can be the source of short circuit inside.

You may replace the battery with new and try it if it'll work. This step is to isolate and eliminate the possible problem. It could be the battery or it could be something else, like the unit itself of the actual Operating System.

Take the battery out and try using hardline. Use the power cable and if this does make the trick. Sometimes, a simple problem can be solved by a simple solution. However, we think it's a simple problem but in reality, it's bigger than what we expected.

Thank you Darren Mac and Sharath Reddy.

I downloaded the firmware upgrade from the link you gave and copied it to the SD card. After the upgrade my Herotab works well now. I think I might also change my battery to be safe.
