Web Update Download failed: URL Parts Error

Hi people.

When I was downloading and for some unknown reason, I received an error message window saying, “Download failed: URL Parts Error Please check your interne connection and try again!”

This bugs me a lot because my internet is working just fine. Any idea on how to address this issue?

The problem may be either with the network or with the file host's side.

Now as you said that your network seems to work fine for other purposes and just this file download seems to be having issues.

I would like to suggest that if you are downloading from source that provides free file hosting you might want to check out subscribing the services of the file hosting platform, as there are many file hosting sites that let you download some parts of a file and let you hanging at the end so you might consider to pay for the subscription to get the whole file.
