Over-the-air firmware updates are mainstays for most Smartphone platforms, but custom ROM builders have rarely had such a luxury, even with Android. The OTA Update Centre wants to shoulder that noble burden. OTA stands for Over The Air. This is the term used for services that a Smartphone or a handset can access without the need to connect a USB cable or through a Bluetooth connection. The OTA Update Center is an update center that is free to use by everyone. It is exclusively designed for custom ROM developers to apply a free and easy to use OTA Update application.

Here are several of its features:

• Ability to add and or remove OTA updates in a unified database.
• It can push notification for any ROM update.
• It can check every day for an update as well as manually check for an update depending on the user.
• It can download the ROM and directly flash it or download the ROM but without flashing it.
• It can erase the data or maybe catch it before the update is flashed.
• All available ROMs are listed in the website so no need to search for other locations.
