Geographic Information System or GIS is one of the programs that you can utilize to store, assemble, capture, analyze and display configurations using geographical data wherein it let you analyze, dissect, familiarize, probe and research its association which is illustrated or displayed using charts, data, analyses, maps or globes. Basically, once you use a web-based application or an internet to find locations or directions e.g finding the nearest Grocery or Supermarket in your area, these could be GIS because it is situated in a place where it meets the clients or customers' demands.
