How to convert access 97 to access 2010?

I have a database on aces 97 and I want to upgrade to access 2010. I want to know about it. Is it possible converting access 97 to access 2010?

If yes then how to convert access 97 to access 2010? What are problems I may face?

Please help me.

Hi,

The default file format for both Access 2010 and Access 97 is the. accdb files format.

Their fore when you create a new database in Access 2010, the file format displayed in the title bar such as Access 97 As a result, you can use Access 97 to open a database that was created in Access 2010 by using the Save As command.

How to convert access 97 to access 2010?

Hello Kristin,

It is important for you to know that many changes have been made between Access 97 and Access 2010.

So it's not always easy to upgrade from a very old version to an advanced version.

No upgrading wizard will do this job directly, you might have to hire an expert for converting your database.

I suggest if you are doing it by yourself then follow the steps involved:

1. The first thing you should do is to import your tables. 

2. Now import your class and standard modules.

3. It's time to import your forms and here debug it.

4. Do it step by step and address every problem in between.
