Is there any conflict between Sandisk U3 and Stick Drive? I was not able to Launch Sandisk U3

Hello there,

 

The problem you're facing is most likely caused by damaged boot sector on your drive. You can easily fix that using some of the HD repair tools. I'd suggest you to try the TestDisk, you can download it from the following link: https://www.cgsecurity.org/wiki/TestDisk. It is a free utility that will recover your boot sector in no time. 

 

 

I would also recommend you to check for the eventual updates for the Launchpad.

Hello Rhonda,

Yes, there are known conflicts. X essentials are bound with DVD burners and the U3 launcher when you insert the USB stick into a PC drive. You will normally get error code 1001 that state failure to connect.

Note that other programs known to cause similar conflicts are there if you are in doubt and don't understand please disable the program that you have and try again to launch the U3.

Talking about your problem, it is not launched because software package you are trying is not complete or some files are corrupt.

Try to obtain new copy and install again.
