Avira antivirus was not able to remove it.

I use Avira to protect my computer. Recently I made scan and found virus in my PC and Avira removed it but when I work I got message from Avira said that virus is still in my PC. So please anyone tell me why Avira was not able to remove virus and how can I remove it.

Avira antivirus was not able to remove it.

When you have to run it the scanning will quarantined the files.

This software will store unnecessary files and it cannot harm your computer. If you do not the idea of scanning you can check the Tutorial.

Hi Patricius,

I would really like to know which kind of virus Avira is detecting on your computer, because if it is autorun then it comes with usage of external storage devices like flash disks. Also, Avira could have removed the virus successfully but due to a task like usage of the internet to download files to your computer, and also sharing files from another computer to yours could have brought the virus back.

Or maybe, Avira is not strong enough to remove that virus completely, so can try using another antivirus program that is stronger like Avg, Bitdefender or Kaspersky. Visit the following link to see more about antivirus rankings
