IPad keeps crashing with certain app

I have been using my iPad frequently and not made any changes other than updating apps.  However, when I access Pinterest, the iPad crashes.  I have had apps crash before, but when I try and use the latest Pinterest update, the entire iPad freezes.  Is it possible I have a virus?  I have the latest game update, and I have tried deleting the app and reinstalling.  Thank you.

Hi, Anthony P Pettis first we should consider what model is your iPod one of the main reasons why your iPod freeze is low on memory. If you're low in memory your unit cannot cope up with your gaming. To protect your RAM from overheating, also you need to upgrade your OS because some application don't run any more in the old OS. Malware cannot be the reason for that.
