How to get the best icon maker osx ? I am not that good in dealing with mac osx but I am trying to explore and learn more on its feature. One thing that I want to download is icon maker which is compatible with mac osx. Your suggestions will be a great help.

How to get the best icon maker osx?

There are many icon makers available for Mac and also for Windows. However, they are mostly not free. You need to purchase the software to be able to use the full features. You can use the trial version to help you decide which one is thebest for you. Below are the links for the two icon makers:

– Download and try iConvert Icons – This tool is structured to make and convert icons. It can creates icons on some popular formats such as png, ico and icns. Also, this is the only icon maker that has support on converting from SVG at once. You just need to drag and drop. And this is available also for Windows PC.

– Download and try iConbuilder – This tool is a bit expensive than the iConvert icons. But this tool is a filter for use in Photoshop and Fireworks for creating icons in Mac or Windows PC. This is compatble with CS4 and Intel Macs. You can save in ICO, ICNS, BMP, PNG, GIF, TIFF format. Iconbuilder requires Mac OS x 10.4.

   There are a lot of websites for Icon maker for OSX they vary from prices. You check the list below to see your options:

• Iconverticons this claim to be the easiest way to create icons and convert them. It is available for Mac OS X and Windows. There is also a free Iconvert that is available online.
• Img2icnsapp simple way to create an icon just drop it in the software and you can customize it after.
• Iconfactory  you can use this along with Adobe Photoshop or Fireworks. It supports Mac or Windows.
