Greetings people.

I was installing the version 3.3 of PhotoScape when I received an error code/ message. What is happening? I am using Windows Vista.

Please help me fix this.

PhotoScape.exe – Application Error

The application failed to initialize properly (0xc01500004). Click ok to terminate the application.

PhotoScape.exe – Application Error The application failed to initialize properly

Hi Paul,

That error occurs if one or more of your c++ libraries are faulty. To solve this try to run it as administrator if it does not work, download those Microsoft Visual C++ runtime libraries (2005, 2008, etc.) and then uninstall them. After that install those latest versions of libraries and then reinstall PhotoScape. If that does not work do the same with .net framework. If it still will not work, try using an older version of PhotoScape like 3.0. That version works for some people.
