Registration of Avast7 to avast.com gives error

Please help, I am trying to register Avast 7 which I downloaded from avast.com but am getting this error message” The service is temporarily unavailable, please try again later" it seems it a common problem going by the number of people posting on forums in China.

Registration of Avast7 to avast.com gives error

Hi there,

If a lot of people in China are having the same issue, then it might be a problem with an Avast’s server. Try these basic troubleshooting steps to get it fixed:

1. Restart your computer

2. You need to log in as an administrator

3. Make sure you have Internet access

4. Check the minimum system requirements (at least Windows XP)

5. Check if you have any other security software installed that might be causing this problem

6. If you have done steps 1 to 4, go to a legitimate Avast website to get it downloaded

7. If it will be the same, try to register at a later time (there might be an ongoing website maintenance or a possible outage)
