Microsoft Word cannot open due to error 712.

I was working on Microsoft Word 2013 when suddenly it crashed. I tried to open it and an error appeared as follows, "Error 712 – The application Microsoft Word can't be opened". I have a MacBook Pro and I cannot figure out how to fix this. All other Office softwares work fine. How can I relaunch Microsoft Word and remove this error? Do I need to reinstall the Office all over again? Also will my data be available on the clipboard when Word 2013 starts again?

Microsoft Word cannot open due to error 712.

It is very important that the windows should be fully updated. Please make sure that your system is up-to-date. If it is not, then install the latest windows updates to your computer. Restart your system. This might solve your issue.
Another solution for this issue is starting the application in safe mode. Use following commands for starting application in safe mode:
1. excel /safe and press Enter to start Excel 2013.
2. Outlook /safe and press Enter to start Outlook 2013.
3. WinWord /safe and press Enter to start Word 2013.
4. PowerPoint /safe and press Enter to start PowerPoint 2013.
