Lyx versus LaTeX, which one did you find easier and more powerful?

I want your opinion on this if you can help. I would like to know which of these two software is more powerful in getting a lot of complicated work done and why you find it the best of the two. Which aspect of the software did you find very appealing?

Lyx versus LaTeX, which one did you find easier and more powerful?

You can choose anyone between Lyx or LaTeX in which you have preference and experience.

** LyX is user friendly which works good in exporting facility. Because you can easily create a PDF in as it is format which you have written in LyX.

** Lyx is bad in importing facility. You cannot edit old LaTeX file with LyX. It comines both the features of TeX and LaTeX.

** LaTeX is somewhat complicated than LyX.

** However, writing and editing a document of LyX is very easy when compared to LaTeX.
