Hae,

I have been trying to reduce the space allocated for music on my iPod. would conversion to adpcm wav from mp3 reduce the size of the size of the media?

Conversion to adpcm wav from mp3

Hi,
To make a conversion between mp3 and AAC formats and wav formats, which are compressed, or lossy format, to uncompressed format such as lossless or flac. Note that quality is not improved, but size is bigger.
So, files are not becoming better in quality, song quality is the same, and uncompressed files take larger memory.  If you try to reduce size of your songs, try this.  Select a song,  and convert to AAC uncompressed format by reducing bitrate to 128.
