Problem to Microsoft report designer

The Microsoft report designer is a collection of graphical query and tools for editing, it provides also a report data pane to be able to organize your report. I have already installed the Microsoft report designer on my computer but it cannot run, I don't know why. Is a Microsoft report designer doesn't compatible with Window 7? Please explain in a way that I can understand.

Problem to Microsoft report designer

The application works with Windows 7!

System requirements:

The following are Supported operating systems:

Windows 7, vista, XP, Windows Server 2003, 2008.

• Windows XP SP 3
• Windows Vista SP 2
• Windows 7

It also requires Microsoft .NET Framework 3.5 SP1.

• 80 MB of free hard disk space.
• 512 MB of RAM.

Other requirements:

•  Microsoft SQL Server 2008 R2 Report Builder 3.0.
• Access to SQL Server 2008 R2Database Engine.

Instructions:

Install Microsoft SQL Server 2008 R2 Report Builder 3.0 on the client machine for report authoring.

 1. Install Microsoft .NET Framework version 3.5 SP1.
 2. Install Microsoft SQL Server 2008 R2 Report Builder 3.0.
