Can anyone tell me the shortcut keys for VLC.?

Dear Experts,

I am a user of Winamp version 5.5 and VLC media player 2.0.1. At times I feel quite uncomfortable using a mouse to play, pause, rewind, change of volume etc.

Can anyone tell me the keys for shortcut Winamp VLC?

Can anyone tell me the shortcut keys for VLC.?

Hi,

There are lots of shortcut keys that can be used in Winamp and VLC media player.

The Basic commands for VLC media player are as below:

Volume: Ctrl + Up arrow key to increase the volume and Ctrl + down arrow key to reduce the volume

Play and Pause: Use Space-bar to Pause and Play

Rewind and Forward:

         Use Alt+ Right arrow key to slow forward and Ctrl+ Right arrow key to Fast Forward

         Use Alt+ Left arrow key to slow rewind and Ctrl + Left arrow key to Fast Rewind

I will provide you all the necessary shortcuts for VLC and WinAmp.

Shortcuts for the VLC media player

[Spacebar] – Play / Pause

[S] – Stop

[M] – Mute / UnMute

[ + ] – Fastforward

[ – ] – Play Slower

[Ctrl] + [UP Arrow] – Volume UP

[Ctrl] + [Down Arrow] – Volume Down

[N] – Next Item

[P] – Previous Item

[Shift] + [Right Arrow] – Move 3 seconds forward

[Shift] + [Left Arrow] – Move 3 seconds backward

[Alt] + [Right Arrow] – Move 10 seconds forward

[Alt] + [Left Arrow] – Move 10 seconds backward

[Ctrl] + [Right Arrow] – Move 1 minute forward

[Ctrl] + [Left Arrow] – Move 1 minute backward

Shortcut keys for WinAmp 5.5

[X] – Play

[V] – Stop

[C] – Pause / Unpause

[B] – Play next track

[Z] – Play previous track

[Right Arrow] – Fast forward 5 seconds
