I cannot play music using the Groove music player in my recently purchased Windows 10 laptop. I can play the videos using the media player, but the music is not supported. I am encountering a 0xc00d36b4 error. How to fix it?

How Can I Fix The 0xc00d36b4 Error In Windows 10?

Since you bought a new laptop, there is a chance that the Windows Media Player service is turned off, and that causes the 0xc00d36b4 error in Groove. Follow these steps to turn it on –

a. Press Windows + R on your keyboard.
b. Type appwiz.cpl and press enter.

c. Click on Turn Windows features on or off.
d. Wait for the list to load.
e. Click on Media Features.

f. Tick the Windows Media Player option.
g. Click on Ok.
h. Restart your device.
i. Play music!

The feature may be turned on, but the media is not allowing you to play the music. Let’s solve that –

a. Open Windows Media Player.
b. Click on the Organize menu.
