Windows Live Gallery error (after update installation)

I have this error after installing most new version of windows live gallery. Can it be confirm that this is a bug? Two different systems have I installed it and no problems. When I try to open recent pictures the error shows up.

Windows Live Gallery error (after update installation)

 

                     You may be experiencing this downside if the database that's use to trace of the photos and videos in Windows Live Photo Gallery is corrupted. to repair this issue, follow the steps below:

 

To regenerate the database file:

 

– Close Windows Live Photo Gallery.

– Start, within the begin Search box, sort %userprofile%Local SettingsApplication DataMicrosoftWindows Live Photo  

   Gallery, and therefore the click the OK button

 

 

 

 – Right-click photos.pd6 and choose Rename.

 – hange the name of the file, for instance, pictures.bak.

 – Start Windows Live Photo Gallery.

 

To reproduce the Windows thumbnail cache:

 

– Close Windows Live Photo Gallery.

– Click begin, within the begin Search box sort %userprofile%AppDataLocalMicrosoftWindowsExpl orer, and then click  OK.

 

 

 

– Right-click the Explorer window and select the New Folder.

– Select all *.DB files and move into the New Folder directory.

– Start Windows Live Photo Gallery.

 

If that failed then 

 

A. First, check that the Windows Live Photo Gallery program isn't running.

1. Press CONTROL+ALT+DELETE, and then click Task Manager. 

2. Click the method tab. 

3. Click WLXPhotoGallery.exe, and then click finish method. 

 

Uninstall WLPG

 

1, Click begin, within the begin Search box/Search programs and files box, sort or copy/paste “C:Program FilesWindows Live”, and then press ENTER.

2. choose the Photo Gallery folder and then press the Delete key.

3, Reinstall Windows Live Photo Gallery
