My phone comes with Snapdragon 710 chipset while my friend has the Snapdragon 675. Even though I have the 710 version, his mobile phone performs better than mine when it comes to day to day usage?

Difference Between Snapdragon 675 And Snapdragon 710

The higher the number doesn’t mean it should perform well every time.

This comparison is based on the difference between the performance of Realme 3 pro and Redmi Note 7 pros chipset.

The thing is that both of the chipsets are very good when it comes to raw performance. But 710 was the chipset released first.

Yes, 675 performs well when it comes to daily usage that is because it has a better CPU than the 710.

Where 710 comes in front is the GPU performance. It is expected to perform well in terms of GPU.

710 Being a 10nm chipset consumes less battery when compared to 675.

So there is nothing to worry.
