Hi,

I've got a nokia e5 mobile set and I want to use skype on it to make video call. How can I have skype on my set? Please, tell me in detail about it.

How to have Skype on Nokia e5 to make video call?

Hi,

First download Skype for your NOKIA E5. Here are some links to download it from. Click on them to visit the page and download.

 

1. Skype for Symbian.

2. Nokia Ovi Store.

 

 

To make Skype Call :

1. Setup your Wlan or make yourself in 3G network coverage.

2. Make a Skype ID.

3. Tap the App and go to setting.>VOIP.>and  IM accounts.>New.>Skype.

4. Sign in and give details.

5. Tap the status and make Available yourself 

6. Click on Skype video call.

How to have Skype on Nokia e5 to make video call?

Hey Debra,

                    First of all install Skype for symbian from Nokia Ovi Suite or from Skype.com. Once you install it in your Nokia E5, Run it, sign in with your ID, and once you're logged in, tap on a contact and click on Video Call, and thats how you'll be able to make Video Calls.

Nokia E5 is a Symbian phone and Skype does not have a port for this. If you have an Android phone, you can download Skype for Android on the Google Play store. Anyway, here are the phone’s specs. The Nokia E5 is a discontinued 3G mobile phone operating on 2G and 3G network bands using GSM and HSPA technologies.

It was announced to the public on April 2010 and released on August 2010 measuring 115 x 58.9 x 12.8 millimeters and weighing 126 grams. It uses mini-SIM card and features a QWERTY keyboard. It has TFT display with 256K colors at 320 x 240 pixels screen resolution. It ships with Symbian 9.3, Series 60 rel. 3.2 powered by 600 MHz ARM 11 processor.

It supports microSDHC. It runs on 256 MB RAM with 250 MB internal storage. The primary camera supports 5 megapixels with LED flash and supports 480p video recording at 15 fps. There is no secondary camera. It has 3.5-millimeter jack, Wi-Fi 802.11 b/g with UPnP & DLNA technology support, Bluetooth 2.0 with A2DP support, GPS with A-GPS and Ovi Maps support, stereo FM radio with RDS support, and microUSB 2.0.

The pre-installed web browser supports WAP 2.0/XHTML and HTML with Adobe Flash Lite support. It runs on removable BL-4D Li-Ion 1200 mAh battery with standby time up to 635 hours on 2G and 670 hours on 3G. Talk time is up to 13 hours 10 minutes on 2G and 5 hours 15 minutes on 3G.

It is available in Carbon Black, Chalk White, Sky Blue, Copper Brown, and Silver Grey colors.
