I need to use the synchronized copy of my account for some office work, does anyone know where is outlook ost file stored on my drive.

The solution to your problem is simple, just go through the steps that follow.

The location of different types of files is depending on the Outlook version you are using and the account type. Fortunately, the ost file has only two places where it can be present. Both of them are present in this solution.

1. It may be present in the location, Users\username\AppData\Local\Microsoft\Outlook
2. It can also be present in

Documents and Settings folder in which you have to open username and then open local settings and so on until you find Outlook in the Microsoft folder. You ought to find the file in of the two places which are above-mentioned.
