Error in installing the Visual Studio Web Development

Hello I fed up with the error I am getting at the time of installing the Visual Studio Web Development, and I am not getting where the problem is occurred and refer the error image and provide an easy solution. Thank You.

You must enable Visual Studio Web Development Feature in Visual

Studio 2010 or install Visual Web Developer 2010 Express before you can install Visual Studio 2010 SP1.

To enable Web Development Feature in Visual Studio 2010, refer to Visual Studio 2010 help.

To install Visual Web Developer 2010 Express, please use Web Platform Installers products list or search box.

Error in installing the Visual Studio Web Development

Hello,

You should carefully read where the error is. Have a look at the error dialogue. You are getting this error because you need to install Visual Web Developer 2010 Express first. You can download it from this link

https://www.asp.net/downloads

Install it first then try to install visual studio. You wont get any error.

Error in installing the Visual Studio Web Development

Hi  Ney Steele,

The service pack 1 installation has some minimum requirements for which you have to adhere to. Simply, the installer is trying to inform you what to fix before you install the service pack.

To solve your problem, simply run again the installer of Visual Studio Service Pack 1 and reinstall or repair or add new features. In the features list ensure that you check the Visul Studio Web Development Features and then install again your software. After the installation, restart your computer and you should now be able to install the Service Pack 1 feature as well. It is as simple as that. Refer to the help agent of Visual Studio 2010 from the help menu of Visual Studio 2010 software you have installed on doing this.
