I want to know a solution for windows update error code 80073712. I have no idea how this error popped up during my Windows Update. I even surfed the internet for this but found the solution now here. I was trying to Update my Windows to Vista when this happened.

Please, someone, explain how to solve this type of error?

Hello,

If your SFC was unable to repair the files, then the best thing to do right now is to install the Windows again. You can also try to run a Disk Error Check. In case it corrects any of your problems, then just run the SFC again and run the System Update Readiness Tool after installing it first. If there is still any trace of the error with the SFC being unable to complete, you have to do a reinstall again.
