Turbo Tax Program Error 10495

Hi! There's an error message occurred on Turbo Tax Program that I am using.

It says that I need to re-install the program. Please explain why this thing happened.

Should I re-install it again or is there any other way of resolving this issue without re-installing the program again?

Please see the error message code below.

Error Code: 10495

Oops, we cannot start a return because there is a problem with the Turbo Tax installed tax forms.

We cannot determine the tax year.

Please re-install Turbo Tax. Exiting Turbo tax.

Turbo Tax Program Error 10495

The reason why you are receiving Error 10495 is because your TurboTax program files are missing, damaged or corrupted.

You are asking if you can reinstall it, the answer is yes.

After you reinstall and you still got the same issue, uninstall it completely and then reinstall again.

Here's how to reinstall Turbo Tax:

1. Click Start and then click the Control Panel.

2. Click Uninstall a Program When running Windows Vista or 7 or Add/Remove Programs when using Windows XP.

3. Search for the TurboTax and then right click to uninstall the program.

4. Just simply follow the onscreen instructions and then restart your computer.

5. Insert your TurboTax installation disk and then install it.

6. Go to the TurboTax official website and see if there is an available update. Download it and then install.

Turbo Tax Program Error 10495

Hai Gran Wesner,

The reason for the error is that there is a damaged file in the program file that prevents executing the program.

 

The only possible way to cure this problem is to re-install the software. If the problem still persists after reinstallation please delete all the files for turbo tax in the "Program files" folder.

 

Then re-install the software again. After the installation, simply modernize the Turbo Tax Deluxe 2010. Then still the error occurs Please post a reply here. We will be getting in touch with you.

Turbo Tax Program Error 10495

It appears that error was caused by one or more files in the application. To check if the cause is the installation files, try to uninstall and reinstall. This will restore any corrupt installation files back to the original version. Before you do this, back up your saved files or documents to a separate folder or drive.

Download the free version of Revo Uninstaller and install. Once installed, start Revo then select TurboTax among the applications and click “Uninstall”. Follow the normal uninstall process. When uninstall is complete, click “Scan” to scan your computer for any leftover files and delete everything it finds. This removes everything the program created on your computer.

When it is finished, exit Revo then install TurboTax back. Try also updating the program if you haven’t updated yet if applicable.
