My phone is not being recognized in Kies

Samsung Kies is not recognizing my phone. I have a Samsung Galaxy Note 2. I rebooted the phone and the computer, but nothing happened. As suggested by a friend, I also tried reinstalling Kies but it also did not work. Does anyone have suggestions on how to fix Kies issues? Or perhaps it's my phone that needs to be fixed?

My phone is not being recognized in Kies

Hello,

Please follow these instructions.

1. Try connect your phone USB cable directly to computer not via docking station or USB hub.

2.  Try to connect it on the various USB ports around computer.

3. Check for latest version of a particular Kies.

4. Restart the computer, restart the device.

If these doesn't work out, You can try Kies Troubleshooter. You can find it in Tools->Troubleshoot Connection Error.
