First of all, I will suggest you to take your system CPU and memory over-clocks back to original spec. I can install x86 without any problem but whenever I have to install x64, I have to do this.

Also check whether your RAM is working properly. Are you having more than one Rams on different ram slots? Sometimes it occurs that one or more ram slots are not working properly and so causing the problem. So try checking out whether this is the reason and if so then replace your faulty slots with good one or simply take your rams out from faulty slots leaving them empty.

Disconnecting all unnecessary hardware from the system may also help. This includes removing hard drives, video cards, USB devices and expansion cards etc. and all but one ram stick. If this not helps you then you might be using a bad installation media. Check out the condition of your disk. Make sure that your copy of Windows comes from a reputable source.

You can also try burning a new DVD on your own using the lowest possible speed.

Your problem  occurred due to many reasons:

• Check your hard disk is formatted with NTFS partition or not, because from starting from windows XP and for the all higher versions you need to have NTFS formatted partition. if you have FAT32 partition it can be a problem.
• Provide the correct driver of your hard disk. you may need to provide hard disk drivers. When you start the setup process you can select load drivers option to provide additional drivers
• Check the SetupAct.log files during the setup process to check whether your hard disk partition is active or not to check it during the setup when you prompt for the disk option just click SHIFT+F10  then command prompt will open.
• Check your motherboard Firmware /BIOS whether they are updated or not.
• You can use the Chkdsk.exe utility to troubleshoot problem of your hard disk.
• If the problem is still there, just use diskpart.exe to clear disk ( your partition and other data may lost ) so from diskpart.exe you can delete and recreate partitions.
• Now run the Windows setup again and check if your problem still exists.
