System Restore did not complete successfully in Windows 7

Hi,

I received an error message on machine running with Windows 7 operating system. It says, "System Restore did not complete successfully". Is it the problem of my antivirus? Kaspersky Internet Security 2012 is running on my machine.

Please help me to solve the issue.

System Restore did not complete successfully in Windows 7

Firstly,you open computer in safe mode.If computer is start then click start menu  then type in search box system restore. Select System Restore then Next and click show more restore point checkbox.Now click one of them then Next.You will get confirm message and then restart your computer to roll the system back.

Hello Grace,

Once I had exactly the same problem that you have now. Don’t worry. Sometimes antivirus program can’t let you to make system restoring due to some affected files and that’s one is “Kaspersky Internet Security”.  

Before system restoring, I suggest you to uninstall all of your antivirus utility application from your system and do a clean restart. After that, try system restoring.

Definitely, your problem will be mitigated.
