Antivirus software is not working

Maybe I’ve loaded viruses on my pc forgetfully and there is Norton Internet Security 2011, installed but still it can’t ensure the security. When I’ve tried to fix the problem it appears with an error message which is:

 “ORDINAL could 383 be installed in the Dynamic Link Library…. Iertutil. Dll.”

I know a little about the computer and I’m trying to learn. That is why I can’t fix the problem. Can anyone please, help me to fix it up?

Antivirus software is not working

 

The problem is not too complicated. First of all how do you know at all that you have a virus. If you are sure of it then, your antivirus software might not be able to detect the viral file as it is does not have definitions about the antivirus. You need updated antivirus definitions. Connect with the internet and you will find update button available in the antivirus software. Try updating all the virus definitions and the engine/ software. You will find very good results. If all fails then you may better reinstall the antivirus software from the setup and update it accordingly.
