Play Station shows error 8001002B when trying to play games

Hi there,

It seems like I have broken my Playstation 3. This is the error the I have sometimes when I want to play any game. On my Playstation 3 I have used only original games and is not cracked. Please can anyone help me to fix this? How should I proceed with my Playstation 3 ?

Play Station shows error 8001002B when trying to play games

I have PS3 and I experienced the problem too, well, to interpret the error, it is telling you that the disc is damaged or dirty disc, this is due to not putting back the disc inside the case after using it, well, we don't experience it on PS1 or 2 because it isn't sensitive as PS3, but then, it is reasonable for PS3 to be sensitive enough because the games are required to be fast enough for the reason that some games are multiplayer and online, to sync a game with online multiplayer, it is required to be fast. Clean your disc using cotton and try to play again
