Will Apple face its sales graph decreasing due to incompatibility version of Airport Utility with IPv6?

Incompatible version of Airport Utility of Apple

Hello there!

Apparently, a lot of users of Apple products are complaining because of incompatibility of the Airport Utility. Then again, there are circumstances that Apple might face decrease in sales graph because of this but Apple Inc. is trying their very best to improve their products.

There are old versions of the product that are known to be incompatible and in this situation, I suggest to better delete the old version and install the newly updated one by Apple. With this, I hope people be informed. If the problem still occurs, try to go to an Apple store and ask for their help.

Incompatible version of Airport Utility of Apple

To avoid having any problems with Apple’s AirPort utility, you should set it up properly for smooth operation.

Here are the steps on how to setup AirPort Extreme over your preferred devices. The steps that will be discussed will use the WiFi network instead of using the one you asked, the IPv6. The steps below can be done on an iPad, iPhone, iPod touch, and or Mac PC.

• Plug in your AirPort Extreme and then connect it to your cable modem or DSL.
• In WiFi Settings, tap on your AirPort base station, this is for your iOS devices. This is to create a new network. If you are using a Mac PC, you can go to the Wi-Fi menu and then follow the instructions.
• Select Create a New Network and then create a password for it.
• Tap on Next.
• Tap on Done.

You are now connected to your new network. Additionally, the IPv6 that you mentioned is a networking protocol that needs to be installed separately or manually but it does not appear in the list of components in the LAN’s connection properties in Network Connections. If you will check your connection’s networking properties, you will only see Internet Protocol (TCP/IP). The IPv6 does not appear on the list. If you want this to appear, you need to install it manually via the command prompt if you are using Microsoft Windows.
