Hello techyv,


How will I fix unread usb memory? I have so many files stored in my usb memory with a capacity of 16mb, the last time I inserted the usb device in my cousin’s laptop and I think there are some viruses that attack the usb memory. I am very disappointed, how can I fix and recover the files?

Expecting some help from you guys.

Hi, if your flash drive had been hit by virus, first you have to clean it using your anti-virus software.

If the virus is gone and your files are safe, then your flash drive is okay to use again.

But if after cleaning it and your files have been corrupted or if it’s gone then, you have to use software that will enable to restore your files again.

You can use the “Restoration” software. You can download it in the internet. It helps a lot when you need to recover files.

There are many software available to recover data on USB. You can download and install USB Flash Drive Recovery Software from the link below:

Or you can also click on Start> Run> Type CMD and then press the Enter key. Change the directory where your USB is. Go to your USB directory and then type ATTRIB -S -H *.* /S /D and then press the Enter key again. Wait until you see the directory that will show up on the screen. Type EXIT and then launch your USB drive.
