That 's  a nice question over there that you have asked. The Virtual Hard Drives (VHD) can hold or be used with several programs or software such as Ms Office, Visual Studio, Antivirus software and several more.

Ensure all the other programs/soft wares can be accessible by the hard drives

It is usually made to work with other soft wares by just implementing it to be accessible to other features.

The VHD Test Drive program or Virtual Hard Disk is simply a file format that represents a virtual hard disk drive or HDD and is normally used as the hard drive of a virtual machine.
