How do I link Zelda to the former shot hook?

Hello, I am playing this game but I am stuck. How do I link Zelda to the former shot hook? There seems to be no rooms with a ladder in the centre of any of the rooms on the swamp palace. Thanks for any information that would help.

Dear user,

Although, I haven't played this game in a while, but I am sure that I can help you. You get the Hook shot  from a temple. It's a swamp temple/palace in the dark world. I am quite sure that you will find it exactly as I am saying..

How do I link Zelda to the former shot hook?

Hi,

Follow these steps in order to get the hook shot in Zelda:

 

Hook shot is in the graveyard in the town with a windmill.  Get to the graveyard and when you’re there turn to your left and ran up the stairs.  There you will find a tomb stone with flowers; you need to get behind the tombstone by pushing it back.  Once done, a hole will appear and you need to jump into it.  Once you are inside the hole, a ghost keeper will appear and will want to race you.  Race with the ghost keeper; keep up with him even without winning until you reach the finish line.  At the finish line the ghost keeper will reveal a treasure chest that contains the hook shot.
