Why Samsung GT-I9080 does not open images?

Hey guys,

I want to know what is the problem in my smartphone ad why suddenly it stopped to pen any images from the gallery and other folders. Recently I updated my smartphone to Android 4.2 and after few days I can notice that my images from gallery are not opening its showing error as unsupported file format? But why though the images are JPEG format but still it is showing this error. Please tell me how to fix this problem.

Hello Edward

I understand that you are able to see the files but you are not able to open them. First of all, you need to back up all your photographs. Then go to application settings.

Tap on gallery.

You would see two options of Clear Cache and Clear Data.

Tap on the both of them one by one.

Restart your mobile. Run the application to see the functionality of the App.

Alternatively, you could download Apps like Quickpic to view all formats of images.
