After a lot of research I narrowed down Synaptic and Cruft as two of the best clean history Linux freeware but I am still confused about the security features on both. Which one is more secure of the two?
Which is the best clean history Linux Freeware Synaptic or cruft?
Synaptic and Cruft can be used to clean residual configure packages which are nothing but those packages in the system which are not being used any more and those packages which are left over even after uninstalling the dependent package. These all can be removed very easily with few clicks in the application.
When it comes to security, Both the tools have good security feature, But it is advisable to synaptic for cleaning the system which is the best tool than cruft. When comes to security Synaptic will gain the point as it searches the packages accurately. Please let me know if you need any more help on this.
