Vista had no support for DOS, Win7 has support, but you must pay for it (with something more powerful than the 'home version'. What is the support for DOS with this new version? Until I can find a newer version that supports DOS (remember when Gates et al said it would ALWAYS be backward compatible?) and without having to pay through the nose for it, I'll stick with XP.

Hi,

I am so sorry to say that windows vista does not have a DOS Command, The Microsoft Company did not put Dos Command in Windows Vista, but there are some saying that Microsoft Company are trying to put DOS in vista but again its still a humor. I think DOS will not include to Vista anymore, the reason because the DOS command will not be include anymore by Microsoft for the newest Operating System that will soon to release.

Hope this help you.

HI,

I searched online for the solution to your problem and it actually turned out to be that you aren’t the only one lots of people were having the same problem. Here are a few well searched solutions I can suggest. I do hope they work for you and solve the problem.

The first thing you should do is uninstall Dell Dock and reboot your computer. Once it reboots, go to http://www.dell.com/support/home/in/en/inbsd1/Drivers/DriversDetails?driverId=8RCW8 and reinstall it. It should solve the problem.

If that doesn’t work, try restoring your computer’s settings to any previous day. This option could also solve the problem.
