I am using Windows XP in my Notebook. I saw Quick Play which seems to be pre-installed in my Notebook. What is Quick Play used for, Is it a useful software, What are its features, Please do the needful for providing me inputs on this regard.

QuickPlay is a super technology pioneered by Hewlett-Packard. With this technology users can play video & multimedia files without booting a PC to the main operating system. QuickPlayer software, recognized as QuickPlayer/ HP QuickPlayer.
HP QuickPlayer is used to watch DVDs/ Play music in Hewlett-Packard Pavilion Entertainment laptops. Few HP Notebooks have QuickPlay buttons. If you want to launch QuickPlay you can press the button.
