Hi there,

I am using Kdenlive 0.92 with Fedora 17 KDE and the from all option only on is available: DV PAL 16:9 and the rest are unavailable and I can’t use them. I heard that this is the best video program and it might help me a lot. Can anyone help me to fix this ? It might be a possible the my VGA is not so good ?

This error appears because your version of Kdenlive is too old for the mentioned audio codec. This was corrected in 0.9.4 version of Kdenlive. To fix this problem, do the following:

1. Visit Kdenlive homepage and download the latest version for your distribution

2. If the problem isn't fixed, you can attempt to go to Kdenlive settings and tick the box "Bypass codec verification". Restart Kdenlive. The resulting video may have playback issues in certain players and work fine in others (GNOME Player and Avidemux).

3. If that does not work either, edit the kdenliverc file and add pcm_s16le to the section containing unmanaged audio codecs.

If none of the solutions listed above succeeded in resolving your problem, check into reinstalling your Fedora or replacing your hardware.
