I keep getting these messages all the time but the numbers keep changingI tryed disabling automatic updates and then updating it manually on website but when try i get redirected to Google. Windows XP Media Center Edition Version 2002
Service Pack 3.

1)When booting, press F8 and  start your computer in safe mode with networking, if it fails to help then,  2).Click run on start menu and type in the command "services.msc".   When the log on tab appears you have to choose the local system account and uncheck the option. Then enable the service in the hardware profile section under the log on section. Restart your pc. Since error svchost.exe is brought about by the existence of corrupt files in windows registry, Use the Registry cleaner software to scan and delete the corrupt files in the registry. OR  3).install the application, absolute startup software, after it opens , go to services and disable services that use svchost.exe and then restart your PC. good luck
