How to solve problem with itunes updater.?

I have tried to install the latest version of iTunes in my iTune and iPhone iOS 5. When opens the iTune the small windows is not pop up and so I am searching for updated by ‘Search for updates’ in the Help. Then a pop up windows is asking for to download the new version of itunes that is Version 10.5. When I am clicking the download, nothing is happening. If anybody knows why this is happening, please advice me to solve this issue.

Solve problem on itunes updater

Hi Justin,

If your iTunes application needs updating, it will be available once you connect your iPhone on the iTunes. It usually does not advise or pop up if no updates are available. You can check if your iTunes is up to date, you need to click on Help then About iTunes. It should display what is the current version of your iTunes. If it is not the latest version, that means your iTunes may be corrupted. You may opt to repair the application by going to your Control Panel. Another option is for you to uninstall then reinstall the application.
