Quick Play software available for download on the net?

Hello and good day to all of you!

We know that Quick play software was made or pioneered by Hewlett-Packard that allows users to play multimedia without booting the computer to the main OS. QuickPlay software was also known as QuickPlay or HP QuickPlay. So here is my question, being popular of this media player, where can I download this QuickPlay software?  Is it still available? What is the latest version of it? Thank you very much.

Quick Play software available for download on the net?

QuickPlay is a technology invented or created by HP. It lets users directly play multimedia without booting the computer to the main operating system or to Microsoft Windows. It comes pre-installed on select notebooks and is displayed as either “DVD Play” or “QuickPlay” depending on the model of the computer and hardware components.

If your computer is configured with QuickPlay, it includes additional features like the ability to connect to a webcam. On computer models that include a QuickPlay button on the keyboard, users can start the computer and the application by simply pressing the QuickPlay button and QuickPlay will be the first application started. The other startup programs will continue loading while the DVD movie or audio CD is already playing.

To see if your HP computer is among the models supported by QuickPlay, go to HP Customer Support – Software and Driver Downloads. On the support page, enter your computer’s model number or serial number then click to search. When your product is located, click it to go to the download page. The page should detect your operating system automatically.

If the page shows a different operating system, click to change then select your correct operating system. Go to the driver download section or tab then locate QuickPlay among the download and download it. If you cannot find it then that means QuickPlay is not supported.
